AAU Junior Olympics
HOW TO QUALIFY:
Step 1: District Qualifier
The top sixteen (16) finishers in each individual, relay, and multi-event shall advance from the District Qualifier to the Regional Qualifier. Competitors shall only advance from the District Qualifier into the Regional Qualifier in the events that they actually competed and qualified at the District level.
Step 2: Regional Qualifier
Advancements from Regional Qualifiers to AAU Junior Olympic Games:
A. Running Events - The top six (6) athletes advance
B. Field Events - The top six (6) athletes advance
C. Relays - The top five (5) teams advance
D. Multi-Events - The top three (3) athletes advance

AAU Regional Qualifier
HOW TO QUALIFY:
Step 1: District Qualifier

Entry Fee: $30/athlete (Free for Elite members)

First, compete and qualify in your Association Championships to cruise into the regional round.
Next, all roads lead to your Regional Championships.
Finish in the top 5 to take the fast lane to the National Championships.

East Side Steppers Invitational
Order of events:
GENERAL ADMISSION: $10/person, 4 and under free (Cash,Cashapp,Venmo). Wristbands must be on to
enter the facility. NO exceptions.
TENTS: A designated time slot will be available Friday afternoon to secure tent spaces. TBA
EVENT INFORMATION: All events will be on a rolling schedule. All track and field rules will be an effect 12
and under 3 events: 13/14 on up 4 events. Age groups may be combined for distance races.
FIELD EVENTS/IMPLEMENTS: Each competitor will have three (3) attempts for throws and horizontal
jumps. Athletes must bring their own implements to use during competition.
AWARDS: Medals will be given to the top three finishers at the completion of each event after the
results have been verified. Please show patience when getting medals. Field event athletes will
collect their medals at that specific site.
REFRESHMENTS: Concession Stand will be available (Cash,Cashapp,Venmo) /Kona Ice
Weather: In the event of inclement weather (following USATF rules) the meet will be on a 30min delay as
needed/required. The delay will be posted on Facebook- The Eastside Steppers and sent out via email.
Top 8 in this meet will advance to the International Youth Track and Field Championships held in
Landover, Maryland July17th-19th
AAU District Qualifier
First round of the AAU Junior Olympic Circuit.
Top 16 in each event qualify for the AAU Regional Championship
